Five Ways to Increase Potential Partners Sign Ups

You have done all the work and your product or service has reached its peak perfection. Your website is up and running and your affiliate program is in place. The next item on your list is to get some joint venture programs initiated that will set your marketing effort on fast forward. The question is: How can you convince prospective joint venture partners to sign on?

1. Contact your potential joint venture partners. This is the initial step. Look for those who have good website traffic, decent mailing lists, and who work in the same market that you are trying to reach. You can contact them by phone, by email or by an instant message service. Make them an offer they can't refuse, one in which you both win.

2. Send your prospects an evaluation copy of your product for their perusal. You can offer the product to them whatever means you have previously made contact or you can just send it to them. Even if they have no interest now, that could change in the future.

3. Show a good faith gesture by being the first to do something for them. Make them aware of what you have done.

4. Send them proof of the positive results of your other affiliate marketers or let them know how well your website converts visitors into customers.

5. Make sure they receive a copy of your joint venture offer including all information regarding commissions, sales incentives, and any remaining sales agreements. Make a genuine offer to promote their sales campaign on your own website in the near future.

Persistence is a virtue in the world of internet marketing. When recruiting new joint venture partners, think of every "no" as a "maybe" and don't stop trying.
