The happier your JV partners are the more effort they will put into promoting your product and, since that is what you are looking for, you need to make sure they are satisfied. The amount of effort you have put into your joint venture partner compensation package will determine how much effort will be put into selling your product or service.
If you have been around the internet marketing world any length of time, you have heard of the 80/20 rule....this rule states that 80% of sales are made by 20% of those involved in the selling. While gratis comps, commissions, and contest prizes and even profit splits may seem more than generous, there is another thing that you can add to your joint venture compensation plan that might increase partner effort. Promise to promote the offers of your partners once your launch period is over.
Your product launch will fizzle out and go nowhere without the effort of your partners. Make sure they are satisfied with the compensation package you offer and are willing to give your product their full attention.
